The Director of Financial Reporting will actively engage with senior leadership and is responsible for all monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting processes. The Director will be responsible of ensuring timely and accurate delivery of all financial and investor reporting deliverables for our corporate entity. The ideal candidate will have a public accounting background and/or heavy financial reporting experience with a publicly traded company.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for accurate and timely delivery of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and footnote disclosures

  • Provides oversight of financial reporting requirements and ensures compliance with U.S. GAAP and other standards

  • Final responsibility for review and approval of work paper support and documentation for financial reports

  • Ensure internal controls are properly designed, implement and documented

  • Stays current with recent accounting pronouncements and evaluates impact to financial reporting

  • Drive continual process improvement through the use and implementation of technology

  • Follow Bridge policies and procedures and comply with state and federal laws

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting – master’s degree preferred

  • CPA designation required

  • Minimum 7 years experience

  • Significant experience (3 years minimum) in accounting with Big Four experience strongly preferred – experience in the alternative investment industry a plus

  • Demonstrated leadership, through team building, mentoring and motivating professional staff

  • Working knowledge of complex investments

  • Excels at operating in a fast-pace, deadline-driven, collaborative environment

  • Must be a team player, self-starter, well organized and able to manage multiple projects concurrently

  • Advanced MS Excel and strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Experience with Yardi is preferred
