What You'll Contribute:

You will work in a multi-faceted financial role supporting the Treasurer

with responsibilities for certain daily cash management activities,

month-end close and reporting activities, ALCO reporting and committee

support and ALCO work group support. The role also participates in brokered

CD funding activities and will be responsible for investment purchases and

sales, with specific focus on meeting CRA investment targets. In this role,

you will achieve and utilize a high-level understanding of the full scope

and key components of Treasury’s primary responsibilities for capital,

liquidity and interest rate risk management. You may also be called upon to

provide ad hoc financial analyses for the Treasurer on regulatory or other

matters.

You will also lead first line of defense activities for the Treasury

Department, including preparing all necessary audit and regulatory

examination materials, conducting and documenting internal control testing,

ensuring updated and robust policies and procedures supporting the

Department and ALCO, and facilitating the closure of any Archer items

arising from audits, examinations or control weaknesses. Close coordination

with the rest of the Treasury department on cash management and investing

activities will be critical, as will cross-functional cooperation with

Compliance, Legal and other departments to carry out Treasury’s strategies

within a strong governance environment.

What You'll Do:

materials in response to requests and questions

Required Qualifications:

· Understanding of Treasury functions and a strong governance environment

will enhance the candidate’s contributions in this role

· Solid understanding of financial concepts and the ability to design and

carry out complex analyses

· Experience interacting with bank examiners and internal auditors to

support productive and efficient engagements

· Ability to balance multiple priorities simultaneously and to work toward

objectives with minimal supervisory support

· Constant focus on details and accuracy in reporting and analysis,

including identifying risks and opportunities to improve processes and

tactics

· The qualified candidate will have 3 – 5 years of financial analysis and

basic cash management experience

· Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel

and Access.

· Demonstrated ability to utilize G/L and other databases to generate

analyses and reporting.

· Understanding of bank balance sheets and risk management principles will

be critical to success

· A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required, and an MBA is

preferred. CFA or CTP credentials are strongly encouraged.

· Prior experience with database management software and query capabilities

a plus. Willingness to develop these capabilities is expected.

· Investment management experience will be favorably viewed.
