Responsibilities:

  • Assists corporate treasurer in developing strategies to manage interest rate risk and liquidity risk

  • Leads and directs asset and liability forecasting, modeling, analysis and strategies in accordance with corporate goals, policies, and procedures.

  • Summarizes and presents projections on the impact of asset/liability portfolio strategies to senior management.

  • May participate in Bank or Corporate ALCO meetings.

  • Oversee a team of analysts.

  • Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

  • Requires a Bachelors degree, Masters degree preferred

  • 8 or more years of directly related experience, managerial experience required.

  • A combination of education and experience may meet requirements.

  • M otivational, budgeting and project management experience preferred

  • Requires an in-depth knowledge of forecasting, analysis, asset/liability strategies, amortizing loans and securities, mathematical/statistical modeling and other related fields and ability to apply information to current role.

  • Exhibits an exceptional degree of ingenuity, creativity and resourcefulness in decision making and problem solving.

  • Ability to communicate complex ideas and results to executive level management
