Following a recent merger with Fluidra, our Salt Lake City facility has expanded operations to also manufacture pool and landscape design features such as cleaning systems, waterfalls, and fire elements.

We are seeking an Accounting Manager to manage our Finance Department functions to include monthly closing of books, data reporting, facilitating audits, regulatory compliance, and team management.

WHAT YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE

  • Manage the A/P dept. and the employees involved in invoicing and disbursements.

  • Improve the DPO metric by improving processes within the A/P dept. and assure that customer’s rebates and problems are resolved in a timely manner.

  • Facilitate improvements in the MRB returns & report on vendor performance statistics.

  • Work on a cross functional team to reduce the Variable Cost of Failure at the SLC Facility.

  • Oversee the Bank Reconciliation and resulting entries.

  • Manage the month end close and prepare JE’s with supporting worksheets per the close schedule from Senior Manager of Finance.

  • Close the books in Navision, Oracle and HFM within the deadlines by the Accounting Department in California with the needed reconciliations and variance analyses.

  • Participate in the process of responding to External Auditors/Internal Auditors and other Regulatory/Tax agencies.

  • Participate in the annual Physical Inventory and prepare schedules and variance analysis.

  • Back up the Senior Manager of Accounting as needed.

    WHAT WE SEEK

  • BS in Accounting

  • CPA required

  • SOX compliance experience preferred.

  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel

  • Intermediate skills in Word, PowerPoint & Outlook

  • Passion for excellence and results

  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Demonstrated people management and team leadership skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross functional environment with the flexibility to adjust to changing priorities and deadlines

  • Knowledge of MS Dynamics Navision preferred

  • Knowledge of Oracle preferred
